Emilie Jade Misajon, MSN, RN, CCRP is a Senior Global Trial Manager at Novartis with over thirteen years of experience in clinical research. She specializes in global trial management, creating and establishing novel programs, as well as training and managing research personnel to support efficient clinical trial operations. She started her career in clinical research at the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery at St. Barnabas where she established their research department and co-authored peer reviewed articles in epilepsy, autism and Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Prior to joining Novartis, Jade worked as an Assistant Manager of the Clinical Research and Trial Office (CRTO) and Education & Quality Improvement Program (E-QIP) at the Atlantic Center for Research (ACR) of Atlantic Health System (AHS) in Morristown, NJ. She created both programs to provide support to the investigators and research coordinators at AHS. Under the CRTO, she provided research operation support and oversaw research coordinators in multiple research sites including Neuroscience, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Pediatric Oncology, Adult Gastroenterology, Pediatric Rheumatology, Wound Care, and Endocrinology. Under the E-QIP, she provided education, training, and human research support framework to all research sites at AHS. She spearheaded process improvement initiatives including development, training, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). She also established new research sites and conducted site quality assessments to ensure that research sites were equipped and ready to conduct clinical trials.

Prior to her career in clinical research, Jade was a pediatric ICU nurse at St. Barnabas Medical Center and a nurse coordinator at the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Saint Barnabas. Jade holds a Master’s degree in Nursing with an area of concentration in Clinical Trials Management.
