Kim currently holds the position of Senior Medical Director in Ophthalmology at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where she is leading clinical development activities in wet AMD and Diabetic Macular Edema.  Previously, Kim was a Medical Director in Medical Affairs at Regeneron and a Shire and led efforts for Investigator Initiated Trials at both companies.  

Kim earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry.

Kim spent 25 years in optometric education, first in Chicago at ICO and then at NSU College of Optometry. She was a frequent lecturer at national and international continuing education lectures and is the author of numerous manuscripts, posters, and columns in a variety of optometric journals.
